Classic trench Coat

This is one of my early classic crepe leather trench coat. The reason for this post is because i felt everyone thinks I only specialize in Handbags which is obviously not the case. Believe it or not all of my early designs are coats and jackets I slowly progressed into other specialties like jeans and Handbags. My bag designs are the most recent development.
However back to the point, Approximately 4 years this coat was released at an RRP of £550 only 5 were produced and one was kept as a profile for Correo Ervhanski projects.

At it's very early days this coat manged to gain about of public attention simply because of it's structural design, Producing this in batch quantities was not idea due to the amount of work put into it. The ideal inspiration for such a design was to make it look like the old military trench coats worn by Germans.

Many people might not be brave enough to wear this as a daily coat (Well not where I live anyway), then again this is not designed for daily use. The structure of this design gives a powerful image or look, hence it was worn by certain consumers who attended to Hifi Meetings and Parties. I was very particular about the belt on the waist and how it will fits, it took my several days to decide how I want the waist belt to look and feel.

Taking a look at the pictures above with the waist belt removed and unzipped makes the overall coat look very casual and drape in a structural manner. Now take a look at the picture next to it "The back view" you will notice the belt does not go all around the waist, giving it an edge cutting look with two complex vents or commonly know as slits.

I really admire the lining of any garments because i have a logic "good lining means quality" why would someone place a cheap outer fabric when they spend £80.00 on the inner lining alone, They wont.
Here I have used a tartan check 100% woven wool lining, more over between the outer fabric and lining there is a hair loom wadding inserted to prevent heat lose and fit comfortably. The inside counts and makes a dramatic difference.

Back view in detail: Amazing detail works on the button which the belt is attached to, you can almost sense the drape feeling.

Finally, The label that was designed in 2003, I had these woven name labels specially made for my early jackets and coats. 1987  is my year of birth and these labels were made a decade ago showing a metaphoric vision of another birth which would be my Ambition to dedicate my life, in the creative world of fashion, and ever since then it's engraved in me.

Thank you for reading this article based on the Trench coat, I hope you found this interesting. Please do check out my Facebook page for continuous updates:

Form a recent research I conducted showed that most females like the idea of having large handbags this research was not based on an age factor. So I wanted to give a quick insight to my up coming design collection which is based on different types of Textures i.e Animal fur and velvet prints.

I took my time to workout what I should exactly design which would complement my previous designs and have a cohesive flow. I was looking at current trends and I see an up-rise in harem trousers with all kinds of coloured prints, but one thing caught my eyes were the Animal printed style Harem simply because they look like the traditional Asian Salvar which is very common till this day within the culture.

Things that I really took in consideration were that mature Asian women who have young kids are normally pushing a pram with a whole load of things stacked in there handbags I.e Milk bottles, Towel, Tissue paper, candies, appointment cards and a whole load of other personal things. For this reason the upcoming collection has a Jumbo large size to it (Lenght 45cm x Height 33cm x Depth 20cm).

Your less likely to see an Asian women with several kids beings very trendy and up to date with the whole Fashion trend, Again this Hand Style was created to give a retro look using Fur, Lace, Animal prints and Stylish leather.

Nevertheless this Handbag is for everyone and anyone who carries loads of things with them and want to give an edge cutting look, even if you don't carry much it still looks great walking with a Leopard down the street or in the shopping center

The structure almost looks like a mini brief case but it's important factor is the Print and Straps, This is just an insight if the collection hence it has no Straps.

Solid Structured base allows you to put the most heavyset item u'd carry with you without the handbag sagging.

An over view of the Handbag illustrates it side size, how the leather and zip overlaps.

Zip detail shows a dynamic way of how leather goes so well with the leopard velvet skin print.

I thank everyone for viewing this page and please keep a look out for the coming collection. Alternative you can follow me on facebook:

How this handbag was developed

In all honesty it is really the colours that stand out from the rest, definitely this stylish bag has a lot to offer in terms of it's unique quilted construction. In this blog i'd like to give an overview of how i went about the design process and manufacturing.

Firstly this handbag was a direct result of my previous collection based on the traditional vintage style tote. I wanted to explore shapes that fit well the anatomy, in this case the circular was the best as it fits perfectly on the underarm making it look like a Wow factor. Normally such style handbags are small in size but I wanted to create something big and practical for every woman.

This Polo Handbag manged to get high publicity in the local media and social websites for it's amazing colours and shape. Why and how I really wished it was an easy task to make, I would of defiantly had many made, I spoke to so many factories and production houses for a production run but its complexity was to much to handle for any factory to attempt high volume production.

This picture is illustrating how it looks like in real daylight, you can kind of workout the proportion of this handbag.

The above pictures gives an idea of how it fits so perfectly on the underarm. My expertise lye in the study of the Human body shapes and sizes, hence most of my designs are technically constructed.

Detail picture of how it looks like when worn, this is how it would look like on you, you can almost feel the softness of the napper leather.

If you find this page appealing please share it with others.

This was an amazing project based on circular Handbags which looks unique and feels great, such a vibrant colour rang was deliberately created so I can give my audience the choice what's Hot and what's Not (Other colours will soon be blogged).  The idea idea of such stylish bag came about randomly while searching for traditional clutch bags,  this whole idea of having round bag is so Cool and Different.
I want to tell you about its production, while I was making this particular bag it was proving to be very difficult due to the sensitive nature of napper leather,  however I found it a real challenge and was certainly an experience which I gained from.
I will always consider myself as a learner in the fashion industry as I learn new things always and I learn from everyone and anyone this is my apparent way of going about the creative world of arts and fashion.

Thank you for reading guy's.

Hopefully in my Next blog I'd be shedding light on some fundamental Knowledge based on Fabrics to give everyone an insight of exactly how fabric is made and what it consists of, the reason why I would like to shed  light on this subject is because often I am asked ''How and what is Fabric made from?" and more over it's interesting to know as your always init.
